Company "THALAMUS" was a major general sponsor of the children's bike team from the city Svetlovodsk, Ukraine. To support the project "On bike for children", Italy 28. May 2014

The Thalamus team consisting of athletes from Ukraine together with other sports clubs took part in the sports project "On bike for children" in order to support children with cancer diseases. The biking competition took place on the route Giro d Italia one day before the official Marathon of professional racers. And the initiator and intellectual boss of the whole project was one of the world acclaimed racer a Czech sportsman Josef Zimovčák, who at present takes part in competitions on retro-bikes around the world (on his high historic bike he also passed the route the Tour de France).

On the project "On bike for children" participated over years already many of prominent people active in medicine, sports, politics and business but also sports veteran and people strong in the spirit from different parts of the world for them is this issues not indifferent.

On the 18th stage of the Giro d Italia, hold on the 28th of May 2014 the group of Josef Zimovčák was reinforced by the team of the Czech bicyclists participated in the bicycle race "Morava",www.cyklomorava.cz headed by Jiří Chlebníček as well as the group of Thalamus: sport bicycle veteran Mihail Tovkach of Kharkov and Gold winner of the international competition in the cross bicycle race in Ukraine in the year 2014 Anton Pustovit. 

An unforgettable impression leaved behind also meetings with the people strong in spirit like a Czech racer Honza, who although he has only one leg, managed to complete on a bike the whole track. By the way the incredible uprising, 15-18 ° at the height of the 1918 meters above sea level was not so easy to manage even for experienced well prepared athletes. 

Special atmosphere also complemented the beauty of the Alpine nature.

The Motto of the project may be the motto of everybody of us: „We, who have fortunate to be healthy, have to help those who have less health."
